How to prepare
Empty the batter and yeast into a bowl and add 425 ml (two and a quarter cups) of lukewarm water.
Mix it well to become a smooth paste
Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and place it in a warm place for 45 minutes and leave to double the size of the dough in the bowl, noting the possibility of increasing this time if the weather is cold
Heat the oil in a deep bowl in a generous amount, then start shortly by shaping it using a small spoon, which you need to dip in water from time to time during shaping or cutting to prevent the dough from sticking to it.
Fry it until it turns brown.
The ready-made dumplings are placed on a colander or absorbent paper to get rid of the oil, then dipped in the pre-prepared sugar solution (syrup) to absorb part of it and become ready to serve
